Mary Shelley first thought of it in 1818 with Victor Frankenstein and his talent for sewing human body parts together. In 2008, Nate Hill made it into a reality with dead animals! Going through a god complex, this 31 year old taxidermist from New York gave birth last year to two life-sized human beings, made out of various animal parts. Cat, coyote, buffalo, puppies, octopus, shrimp, squirrel, opossum, duck: from his appartement in Harlem, Nate works on his “Bible Rewrite Project” in which A.D.A.M. stands now for “A Dead Animal Man”, and E.V.E. for “Earthy View of Eden”.

To spread out his word, Nate has even officially joined the MART (Minnesota Association of Rogue Taxidermy) and organises garbage tours where people are invited to search through Chinatown trash for art supplies.
