Broken Deer is Lindsay Dobbin’s solo project. She’s from the northern frontier of the Yukon, deep Canada. She’s definitely not a urban girl – she had a split cassette with a band called “Fuck Montreal“. Her weird and beautiful songs are mixed with field recordings, soundscapes, and lo-fi blips and bleeps to create a “celebration of nature, ritual, life and decay”. Sort of music you found in your grandparents’ attic, but your grandparents are coming from the future. Weird Canada…
