Primavera Sound – THE destination this summer for european festival goers. And if you’re not gonna make it to Barcelona this year, don’t stress, this is your lucky day: you can virtually follow the festival with me, The Drone’s rather disorganized British festival reporter who is currently arguing with a TGV inspector having forgotten to print her ticket on the high speed train to Montpellier.
Well, c’est la vie hey? I have until Thursday to get to Parc del Forum (frankly, at this rate cross your fingers people) when the festival will kick off with sets from Monotonix, The XX, Pavement, Surfer Blood and The Fall. The Drone is gonna be bruised and bloody the mosh pit as well as tanned and exclusive backstage sipping cava with all the other rock n roll press darlings.
Check in to The Drone blog regularly to get updates, anecdotes and photos direct from Primavera and follow the road trip live with one-woman Team Drone.
Just pray I don’t lose my iPhone…

yes! Primavera is the festival where Wavves split up last year. Great Pitchfork scene and all! What are you gonna see?
