Llik Your Idols DVD coverIn the early 80′s in the UK, while Depche Mode and The Cure marry blackness for better or for worst with “New Wave”, the New York “No Wave” scene seemed to involve a much wilder scale of art types.

Music, painting, cinema, happening: director Angelique Bosio’s documentary “Llik Your Idols: The cinema of Transgression” pays tribute to the pioneers of this Era.

This No Wave All Stars film features among many others Thurston Moore, Richard Kern, Lydia Lunch, and the gore-cartoonist and performer Joe Coleman! Famous for his sick fascination for serial Killers, psychopaths of all kinds, and exploding live actions…

Pavement to curate next ATP festival

Stephen Malkmus and Mark E. SmithFor those who spent the past few months locked in a cabin without any contact with the outside world, here’s two fresh news: Patrick Swayze is dead and Pavement are reuniting.

Stephen Malkmus and his buddies will launch their reunion tour on March 2010 in Australia, and will be headlining and curating next ATP festival on May. As expected, the tickets are already gone but more surprising is the first line-up: Faust, Quasi, Endless Boogie, Enablers and The Fall.
