A Dungeon Master is a Dungeons & Dragons organizer and participant in charge of creating the details and challenges of a given adventure. Director Keven McAlester (the guy behind the Roky Erickson/Thirteen Floor Elevators documentary, You’re Gonna Miss Me, picked three of them, enlisted Blonde Redhead to compose the film’s score and gave birth to The Dungeon Masters.
The only thing I quite don’t understand is how a 30-year old game can be related to Obama and bank bonuses? A trick to sell us some “they shoot horses, don’t they?” concept, and show us how role-playing can get important for desperate people in these economic times?
No… I guess a possible answer simply would be: if having some of those adult dorks on tape in 2010, takes a bit of so-called political analysis, it’s just worth it.
