Once upon a time, Erika Alexandersson, ex-Loney Dear backing vocal and keyboard, and Simon Angell, Patrick Watson‘s guitar player, met, when Patrick Watson and Loney Dear toured together a couple of years ago. Then Thus:Owls arrived somewhere between Montréal and Stockholm. And then add a couple of great musicians – Martin Höper, Cecilia Persson and Ola Hultgren – to get an interesting band. Their first album, “Cardiac Malformations”, has been released a few months ago.
