Croquet, picnics and cycling: a bunch of mid 19th aesthetic lovers are taking over the streets of alcatraz’s city. Mainly interested in bicycles, the Tweed lovers preach for courtesy, good manners, through a community mainly based in England called The Chap. (Check out the british Chap Manifesto).
They argue that we’ve all “become the playthings of corporations intent on converting our world into a gargantuan shopping precinct”, but also that “Pleasantness and civility are being discarded as the worthless ephemera of a bygone age”. I guess it’s now the time for you to pick sides, drone-readers: cool or just conservative?
